Relic Runners review

Relic Runners is a game that I've been enjoying a lot lately. It's got a great mix of mechanics that makes it feel unique and engaging. It's not overly complicated, but it's not a simple game either, which I appreciate. There are many ways to play and win, and the game doesn't take too long to play. I was initially worried that the end-game conditions would be hard to reach, but they turned out to be much easier to achieve than I thought.

The components are nicely made, and the instructions are easy to follow. My daughter even loves it, which is a big plus! It's a fun game for families and gamers alike.

However, I have to agree with some reviewers that the setup and learning the rules can be a bit complex at first. It's definitely worth watching a YouTube video or two to get a better understanding of how the game works. I also found that some of the board pieces can be hard to see, blending into the colors and patterns on the board.

Overall, I think Relic Runners is a great game, and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys strategy games with a bit of luck thrown in. It's definitely worth trying out, especially if you're a fan of Days of Wonder games. It's a solid game with beautiful components and a fun theme. It's definitely not a gateway game, but if you enjoy other strategy games and like the temples-and-treasure theme, you'll enjoy Relic Runners.
