The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Deck-Building Game
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Deck-Building Game review
I recently picked up The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Deck-Building Game, and I have to say, it's a pretty fun time. It's not terribly complex, but it does involve a bit of strategy, which makes it more appealing to teenagers and adults than younger kids. I like that it's a two-player game, so I can play with my husband, though I've also played with larger groups, and it's just as fun, though it takes a bit longer, of course.
The game itself is very enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a fun, well-designed game with some friends. The only real complaint I have is with the storage slots for the different cards. The cards don't sit in some of the slots very evenly, especially if you sleeve the cards. It's a bit tight.
I've seen some reviews that say the game is too easy and doesn't have much replay value, but I disagree. I think it's a great game for beginners, and even though I've played it a few times, I still find it to be challenging and fun. I also think it's a great way to kill some time, especially if you're a fan of The Lord of the Rings.
