Kingdomino
Kingdomino review
Kingdomino is a game that has quickly become a favorite in our family. It's simple enough for my kids to learn, but with enough strategy to keep me engaged. The game involves building your own kingdom by collecting domino-like tiles, each featuring two different terrains. You must match the terrains together, creating large contiguous areas for points. The scoring system is simple enough for my kids to grasp (multiply the number of connected tiles by the number of crowns on them), but it still requires some planning and strategic thinking. I particularly enjoy the unique turn-taking system, where your choice of tile determines the order you select a tile in the next round. This adds a nice layer of tactical play. While some reviewers mentioned a bit of luck involved, especially in the 2-player version, we don't mind that at all. The game is quick and easy to set up, making it perfect for a casual game night. We also love the colorful and beautifully designed components. Overall, Kingdomino is a fantastic game that we highly recommend. It's fun for the whole family, and I'm always impressed by how quickly it's learned, even by my youngest.
