Vampire: The Masquerade – Heritage review

I've been a fan of the World of Darkness for a long time, so I was really excited to get my hands on Vampire: The Masquerade – Heritage. The idea of shaping seven hundred years of history as an ancient vampire is just too cool to pass up. I have to admit, though, the rules took a bit of effort to grasp at first. There are a lot of moving parts, with characters, bloodlines, and intrigue cards all playing a role in the game. It definitely isn't a game for the casual player.

The legacy elements are what really make this game stand out. As you play through the campaign, you're constantly making choices that shape the game world and your own character's history. It's fascinating to see how your actions ripple through time and influence the outcome of the story. I also love the fact that you can turn mortals into vampires, giving them unique abilities and a place in your bloodline.

I'm still getting the hang of the mechanics, but I'm having a blast. If you're a fan of World of Darkness and you're looking for a complex, engaging, and rewarding legacy game, I highly recommend Vampire: The Masquerade – Heritage. Just be prepared to invest some time in learning the rules!
