Undaunted: North Africa
Undaunted: North Africa review
I've been a fan of the Undaunted series since its debut with Normandy, and I was eager to get my hands on Undaunted: North Africa. I was not disappointed! The game captures the gritty feel of desert warfare in a way that's both strategic and exciting.
The deck-building mechanic is as engaging as ever, and the addition of vehicles adds a new layer of complexity to the game. I particularly appreciate how the game forces you to adapt your strategy as your units become casualties, making every decision feel meaningful.
Some reviewers have criticized the game's balance, but I personally haven't experienced any major issues. It's certainly not a walk in the park, and the Italian side can feel disadvantaged at times, but I find the challenge to be part of the fun.
Overall, I highly recommend Undaunted: North Africa to anyone who enjoys strategic card games with a historical theme. If you loved Normandy, you'll definitely want to check this one out.
