Trio
Trio review
Trio is a game that has quickly become a favorite in our household. It's deceptively simple to learn - you're basically trying to find sets of three matching numbers by looking at other players' hands and the face-down cards on the table. But don't let the simplicity fool you, Trio is surprisingly strategic! You need to remember where cards are, anticipate what other players are looking for, and maybe even a little bit of luck.
What I really love about Trio is how quick it is to play. A game usually takes about 15 minutes, so it's perfect for a quick filler game or even a longer game night. And the best part? It's fun for everyone! I've played with my kids, my parents, and even some friends who aren't typically into board games, and everyone has a blast.
The "spicy" mode adds another layer of strategy, making it a bit more challenging for those who want a little extra mental workout. Trio also has a team mode, which is a great way to mix things up and encourage collaboration.
The cards themselves are beautiful and well-made, and the box is very eye-catching. I can definitely see this game getting a lot of use in our family for years to come.
