Lost Legacy: Flying Garden
Lost Legacy: Flying Garden review
Lost Legacy: Flying Garden is a quick and fun card game that reminded me of Love Letter, but with a few twists. I really enjoy the theme, and the artwork is beautiful, but I have to agree with some of the other reviewers that it feels a bit less solid than Love Letter. The game itself is pretty straightforward: you draw a card, play a card, and then carry out the effect. The investigation phase at the end is a nice touch, and it adds a bit of suspense to the game.
The rules are simple, but I did find myself referring to the rulebook a few times to clarify certain points. Overall, it's a great game for a quick, casual game session, and I think it would be a perfect game for introducing new players to card games.
I'm not sure I'd call it a "must-have" game if you already own Love Letter, but if you're looking for a fun and affordable card game that's a bit different from the usual fare, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. I'm planning on picking up the Starship set to see how the two combine, and I'm hoping that will add some more depth to the game.
