Level 10
Level 10 review
I recently picked up Level 10, a cooperative card game where players work together to help Izzy complete ten levels in five different video game worlds. The concept is simple: you play cards onto a 5x10 grid, trying to complete levels and avoid "reset" cards that send you back. What makes it interesting is the secret hand management and the collaborative element. You can't see your fellow players' hands, so you have to rely on subtle hints and strategic card placement to guide everyone towards victory.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The rules are easy to learn, but there's a surprising amount of depth to the gameplay. I love the retro video game aesthetic, and the artwork on the cards is charming. It's definitely a game that's easy to pick up and play, and it's fun for both solo and group play.
Some reviewers have mentioned that the instructions are a little vague, but I found them to be fairly clear. I also appreciate that there are multiple difficulty levels, so you can tailor the game to your group's preference. Overall, Level 10 is a great game for families, friends, or anyone looking for a fun and engaging cooperative experience.
