Khet: The Laser Game review

I recently picked up Khet: The Laser Game and have been having a blast with it! I've always been a fan of strategy games like chess, but this one adds a whole new dimension with its laser-bouncing mechanics. It's like a futuristic version of chess, which is exactly what I was looking for. The Egyptian theme adds a cool visual touch, and the pieces are well-made and sturdy.

I've been playing it with my family, and even my younger kids are starting to get the hang of it. The learning curve isn't too steep, but there's enough complexity to keep things interesting even for experienced board gamers. I especially love the way you have to think several moves ahead, anticipating your opponent's strategies and planning your own laser shots. It's a lot of fun!

One thing I did notice is that the laser beams aren't super bright, so it's best played in a dimly lit room for the full effect. It's also worth mentioning that the English rulebook is illustrated, which is a nice touch.

Overall, I highly recommend Khet: The Laser Game. It's a unique and engaging game that I'm sure will provide hours of fun for anyone who enjoys strategic thinking.
