Junk Orbit
Junk Orbit review
Junk Orbit is a really fun, chaotic game that I would recommend to anyone who likes quick-playing, strategic games. I've played it with a variety of groups, both casual and experienced gamers, and it always seems to go over well.
The core gameplay loop is simple enough to pick up, but there are some interesting strategic decisions to make. You have to balance picking up the most valuable junk with delivering it efficiently, and you also need to be mindful of your opponents' moves. The ship powers add an extra layer of depth and complexity, and they can really change the way the game plays out.
One thing I really like about Junk Orbit is the fact that it's so quick to play. Games usually last about 30 minutes, which is perfect for a casual game night. Plus, the setup is also quite simple.
One minor criticism I have is that the game can feel a bit random at times. The way the junk tiles are moved can sometimes feel like it's just down to chance. But, I do think that randomness adds to the chaos and fun of the game. Overall, I think Junk Orbit is a great game that I would definitely recommend!
