Deckscape: The Mystery of Eldorado review

Deckscape: The Mystery of Eldorado is a fun escape room-style card game that had me and my friends hooked for a good hour and a half. We're big fans of the escape room experience, and this game definitely scratches that itch. The puzzles are challenging but fair, and the story is engaging enough to keep you invested.

I will say that this game is definitely a one-and-done experience. You're essentially solving a single puzzle, so once you've done it, you're unlikely to play it again. The good news is that the quality of the cards and the cleverness of the puzzles make this a great value for the price. If you're looking for a fun, short game that provides an escape room-like experience, I would definitely recommend it.

However, I agree with some reviewers who mentioned that the instructions are a bit unclear at times. This was particularly frustrating in a few instances where we felt we were stuck and the instructions weren't giving us enough to go on. Ultimately, this didn't ruin the game for us, but it did add a bit of frustration to the experience.
