Carson City review

Carson City is a strategic game with a Wild West theme that I found very enjoyable. The game is played in four rounds, and each round you choose a character from seven available, each with different advantages. After selecting a character, you place your cowboys on action track locations to construct buildings, claim land, earn money, or score victory points. If another player is on the same location as you, you have to duel with dice to see who gets the action!

The game has a good amount of depth and strategy, with lots of different ways to play. It's easy to learn, but there are plenty of options to keep things interesting. I particularly liked the auction mechanism and the way the characters change the gameplay each round. I've played it with a variety of groups and everyone has seemed to enjoy it. If you're looking for a game that's quick, fun, and strategic, I highly recommend Carson City.

I've found that Carson City is best played with 3 or 4 players, as the 2-player game can feel a bit empty. I also found that the game has a good balance of luck and strategy, which I appreciate. I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun and engaging strategy game with a Wild West theme.
