Betrayal at House on the Hill: 3rd Edition review

Betrayal at House on the Hill: 3rd Edition is a game that I've been wanting to try for a while now, and I finally took the plunge. It's a cooperative board game where players work together to explore a haunted house, but one player will eventually betray the others and unleash a haunt. There are 50 different haunts, and the board is modular, so each game is different.

I really enjoy the variety of scenarios and the fact that the board is rebuilt for each game. I found that the game is a bit confusing to learn at first, but once you understand the rules it's very entertaining. It's definitely not a quick game, but it's a fun way to spend a few hours with friends.

I've played this game a few times now, and I'm starting to get a better grasp of the rules. I've found that this game is great for parties, and it's a good way to get people who don't normally play board games involved. I'm really enjoying the game so far, and I'm looking forward to playing it more. It does require a bit of setup and reading, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys board games.

One thing I have noticed is that the 3rd edition has been updated and streamlined quite a bit. This is great for new players, but some longtime fans may find it a bit too simple. I personally think the changes are good, but I can see how some people might miss the complexity of the previous editions.

Overall, I think this is a great game. It's well-made, and it's a lot of fun to play. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good cooperative board game with a spooky twist.
