Wandering Towers review

Wandering Towers is a delightful game that's been a big hit with my family. The concept is simple: race your wizards to Ravenskeep, a magical tower that moves around the board, while collecting potions. The fun part is that you can also move the towers, potentially trapping your opponents' wizards (or even your own!) under them. It's a mix of strategy, memory, and a bit of luck, which makes for an engaging and unpredictable experience.

The game components are top-notch. The towers are sturdy and fun to assemble (although some reviewers noted that the cardboard can be a bit flimsy). The box is well-designed and includes compartments for everything, so setup and cleanup are a breeze.

What I really like about Wandering Towers is how easy it is to learn but still offers a good amount of depth. You can play it with different numbers of players, which makes it great for family game nights or gatherings with friends. I also appreciated that the game is relatively quick, with most games taking around 30 minutes.

One thing I found a bit challenging is keeping track of where all the wizards are hidden under towers. This adds a memory element to the game, which can be frustrating at times, but also adds to the overall enjoyment. It’s certainly a game that requires a bit of attention!

Overall, Wandering Towers is a fantastic family game that's easy to learn, fun to play, and has enough replay value to keep you coming back for more. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a light, engaging, and quirky board game.
