Vast: The Mysterious Manor
Vast: The Mysterious Manor review
I've been wanting to try Vast: The Mysterious Manor for a while now, and I finally got my hands on a copy. I was excited to see what all the hype was about, and I'm happy to report that it's a really fun and engaging game. I love the asymmetric gameplay, where each player takes on a different role with unique abilities and goals. It makes for a truly unique experience every time you play.
The game is visually stunning, with beautiful art and high-quality components. The miniatures are especially impressive, and I was really pleased to see that they replaced some of the cardboard tokens from the base game. However, I did have some issues with the rulebook. I found the instructions to be a bit unclear in places, and I spent a good chunk of time trying to figure out how everything worked. Once I got the hang of it, though, the game was incredibly satisfying. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys asymmetric board games or dungeon crawlers.
I've read some other reviews that mentioned issues with the box being damaged. I was lucky enough to receive a pristine copy, but it seems like this is a common problem. It's a shame, because the box is really beautiful. Overall, I think Vast: The Mysterious Manor is a great addition to the Vast series. It's a challenging and rewarding game that I can't wait to play again.
