Tin Goose review

Tin Goose is a fascinating game that throws players into the fast-paced world of early commercial air travel. As a fledgling airline owner, you'll need to make tough decisions about how to build your empire. It's a balancing act between greed and fear, a constant juggling act of expansion, upgrades, and disaster avoidance. I love the way the game features strategic risk management. There's a lot of planning involved - you're never quite sure what calamities are lurking in the deck of cards. It keeps you on your toes!

The game's design is brilliant. The cards are well-made and the artwork is fittingly vintage. What really sets it apart is the lack of random events. The game relies on the players' decisions and the cards they draw. This gives it a more strategic feel, as you can anticipate your opponents' moves and plan your own accordingly.

The game is a great choice for 2-4 players and I've enjoyed playing it both with my husband and a group of friends. The game is replayable, with each game presenting unique challenges based on the random setup and player choices.

My only minor criticism is that the game can feel a bit daunting for new players. There are a lot of elements to manage and some initial confusion can be expected. But once you get the hang of it, it's a truly rewarding and engrossing experience.
