Tesla vs. Edison: War of Currents

I recently picked up Tesla vs. Edison: War of Currents for a friend who's a huge history buff and loves board games. I was excited to give it a try myself, and I'm happy to report it's a pretty engaging game!

The premise is simple: you're trying to become the most famous inventor of the late 1800s by developing new technologies, building power grids, and influencing public opinion. There are a lot of moving parts, and it definitely takes a few games to get the hang of it. But once you do, it's a really satisfying experience.

The game's components are high quality and the artwork is fantastic. I especially loved the little figurines for the historical figures. My friend found the game to be pretty challenging, and I agree it's not for everyone. It's definitely on the heavier side of board games, and some people might find it overwhelming. That being said, I think it's a great game for experienced players who are looking for a deep and strategic experience. I really enjoyed the economic aspect of the game and the choices you have to make about how to allocate your resources.

Overall, I would recommend Tesla vs. Edison: War of Currents to anyone who enjoys historical themes, economic strategy, and worker placement games. I think it's a really well-designed game that is sure to provide hours of fun!
