Perspectives Review
I've been a fan of Unlock! games for a while now, so when I saw Perspectives, I knew I had to give it a try. It's a fantastic game, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys cooperative puzzle games.
The core concept of Perspectives is really intriguing. Each player has access to only a portion of the information needed to solve the case, and you have to work together to piece it all together. It's a lot like playing a real-life detective game, and it's really rewarding when you finally crack the case.
The game comes with three different cases, each with its own unique storyline. The Nagaraha case is set in India and involves a museum theft, The Dregs is set in California and involves a rock music poisoning, and From Buenavista with Love is set in South America and involves gangs and murders. Each case is divided into four acts, and each act presents a new set of challenges. The difficulty ramps up as you progress through the acts, and it can get pretty intense!
One thing I really appreciated about Perspectives is that it forces you to think outside the box. The clues are often subtle, and you have to pay close attention to detail to find them. It's also a great game for visual learners, as there are a lot of photos and diagrams that you need to decipher.
The game is best played with two or more players, as it really helps to have different perspectives on the case. However, I think it could be challenging to play with a larger group, as it might be difficult to keep everyone engaged.
Overall, I'm very impressed with Perspectives. It's a well-designed, engaging, and challenging cooperative game that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good puzzle.
