Treasure Hunter review

Treasure Hunter is a card drafting game that I recently picked up after hearing so many good things about it. I was immediately impressed by the artwork and the high quality of the components. The game is surprisingly easy to learn, even for new players, but there's enough depth to keep things interesting for seasoned gamers as well. The game plays in 5 rounds and each round consists of drafting cards, playing treasure cards, playing goblin cards, and then playing coin cards. The player with the most points at the end of 5 rounds wins.

What I really love about Treasure Hunter is the card drafting mechanic. It's a simple but effective way to create a lot of tension and excitement. You're constantly trying to balance the cards you want with the cards you think your opponents might want. The game is also very fast-paced, which makes it perfect for a casual game night. I've played it with a variety of groups, from families to hardcore gamers, and everyone has enjoyed it. It’s really easy to explain and a great game for teaching new players about card drafting mechanics. The game is also very flexible, and it can be played with as few as 2 players and as many as 6 players.

One of the criticisms I've heard about Treasure Hunter is that it can be repetitive. I can see how that could be the case, but I haven't found it to be a problem myself. The different treasures and cards that you can draft, the goblin mechanic, and the different strategies that you can employ keep things fresh and engaging for me. Plus, if you find the game mechanics repetitive, there is also an expansion available that adds more variety and complexity to the gameplay.

Overall, I think Treasure Hunter is a great game for anyone looking for a fun and engaging card drafting game. It's fun, easy to learn, and quick to play. I highly recommend checking it out!
