Take it Easy! review

Take It Easy! is a game that's hard to describe, but easy to love. It's a multiplayer solitaire game where each player individually fills a hexagonal board with tiles. The tiles have colored/numbered lines crossing in three directions, and the caller randomly draws a tile, announcing it to the players. Each player then chooses where to place the tile on their own board, trying to complete lines of the same number.

I love the way this game is described as a "thinking bingo" game. It's true, you are essentially calling out numbers and completing patterns, but there's a lot more strategy involved than just luck. You have to think about where you place your tiles to maximize your score. The scoring system is simple: multiply the number on the tile by the number of tiles in the completed line. But the strategic element comes in when you try to plan for completing those longer lines, which can be quite satisfying.

What I really enjoy about Take It Easy! is that it's a great game for both casual and serious gamers. It's easy to learn and quick to play, making it perfect for a family game night. But it also has enough depth and strategy to keep seasoned gamers engaged. It's also a fantastic game for a group, as the social interaction of trying to outsmart your friends adds to the fun. And since you can play with as many people as you have sets for, you can easily have a large group playing together.

I found this game to be surprisingly addictive, and I've been playing it with my family and friends ever since I first got it. It's a great game to break out when you want something fun, relaxing, and engaging. The fact that you can easily play it with two people or a large group makes it incredibly versatile.
