Sword & Sorcery: Ancient Chronicles review

I've been playing Sword & Sorcery: Immortal Souls for a while now, and when I saw Ancient Chronicles, I knew I had to get it. The campaign is set in the distant past of the events from the Immortal Souls campaign, which is a really neat twist, and it's fully compatible, meaning you can mix and match heroes and monsters from both campaigns. It adds a lot of depth to the game, and I really appreciate that.

The game itself is very complex, but once you get past the learning curve, it flows smoothly. There's a lot to learn, and the rulebook is huge, but it's definitely worth it. The book of secrets is a fantastic feature, and the travels between quests are great. The game really feels like an epic fantasy adventure.

I was a little worried about the shipping, but it arrived quickly and in good condition, despite a few minor dents in the box (which was probably due to UPS). That being said, the packaging was solid, and the game itself was in perfect condition.

Overall, I'm really happy with Ancient Chronicles. It's a great addition to the Sword & Sorcery universe, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys cooperative board games. It's a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience.
