Aeon Trespass: Odyssey - A Review
I've always been a sucker for games with a strong narrative and a sense of adventure, and Aeon Trespass: Odyssey definitely delivers on both fronts. The premise is intriguing - a world where the Olympians are gone and replaced by these terrifying Primordials. You're thrust into the role of Argonauts, tasked with fighting off these creatures and saving the world. It's a heavy responsibility, but one that feels incredibly rewarding to shoulder.
The game itself is a campaign-style experience, played over multiple sessions. This is where the real meat of the game lies. You're constantly making choices, both big and small, that have a lasting impact on the story and the world around you. This really makes you feel invested in your journey, and it's exciting to see how your decisions shape the narrative.
Combat is another highlight. The giant Primordial bosses are absolutely terrifying, and the AI system that controls them is surprisingly smart. It's a real challenge to take them down, but the feeling of victory is that much sweeter when you manage to pull it off.
There's a lot to love about Aeon Trespass: Odyssey. It's a complex and challenging game, but also incredibly rewarding. If you're looking for a cooperative campaign game with a strong narrative, a sense of adventure, and a whole lot of giant monsters to fight, then this is definitely a game you should check out.
