Shipyard (2nd Edition) Review

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Shipyard (2nd Edition) and I'm happy to report that it's a fantastic game that lives up to the hype! I remember owning the original printing years ago, and while the game itself was great, the components were a bit of a letdown. This new reprint, however, is a total game-changer.

The components are top-notch and make the game feel even more immersive. I love the artwork on the cards and the overall aesthetic of the game. The gameplay is still just as engaging and strategic as the original, and the minor tweaks to the rules only enhance the experience.

The game involves building ships, acquiring crew and equipment, and competing for government contracts. It's a fast-paced and strategic game that encourages careful planning and decision-making. I especially appreciate the variety of actions available to players and the way the game scales well with different player counts.

If you enjoy deep strategy titles and have a penchant for ship building, Shipyard (2nd Edition) is an absolute must-have. It's a beautifully crafted game with replayability that will keep you coming back for more.
