The Ancient World

The Ancient World is a worker placement game that has quickly become one of my favorites. The artwork is absolutely stunning, and the gameplay is fast and easy to learn. It's got a lot of replayability, too, with a lot of different strategies available. It's a great game for people who enjoy worker placement games, but are looking for something a bit more complex than the usual fare. I was a little worried that the game might be too short for me, but I've found that the time flies by, and I'm always left wanting to play another round. The empire building aspect of the game is very engaging, and the military system is unique and fun. There's a lot of strategy involved in deciding how to spend your resources and what to focus on, whether it's getting more money, food, or building your military. Overall, this is a fantastic game that I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys worker placement games, but is looking for something a little more complex and engaging.
