Wavelength review

Wavelength is a unique and fun game that's perfect for a group of friends or family. The concept is simple: two teams compete to guess where a hidden "bullseye" is located on a spectrum. One player on each team, the "Psychic," knows where the bullseye is and has to give a clue that is conceptually located in the same area on the spectrum. For example, if the card is "Hot - Cold" and the bullseye is slightly on the "cold" side, the Psychic might give a clue like "salad."

I found the game to be incredibly engaging and it definitely sparked a lot of conversation and laughter among my friends. It's a great game for getting to know people better, as you have to think about how others might interpret your clues. The game is also quite strategic, as you have to consider not only the Psychic's clue but also where you think the other team might be placing their guess. I've played this with a range of groups, from 2-player couples to large gatherings, and it always seems to be a hit. The game itself is also well-made and the components are good quality.

One of the main criticisms I've seen is that the game is a bit pricey for what it is. You're basically paying for the little wheel and the cool packaging. I think it's a fair point, but I still believe that the game is worth the cost. If you're looking for a fun, engaging, and unique game that will spark conversation and laughter, I would definitely recommend giving Wavelength a try. It's a great choice for a game night or just a casual gathering with friends.
