Taboo review

Taboo is a classic party game that's been a staple in my family for years. I recently bought a new copy to replace our old, well-worn set, and I'm glad I did. The game itself is still just as fun as I remember - the pressure of trying to get your team to guess the word without using any of the forbidden words is always exciting. The new version has updated cards, which I appreciate, though I do miss the old card holder that came with my previous copy.

There are a few things I do wish were different about the new version. Some reviewers have complained about the buzzer, and I agree, it is a bit underwhelming compared to the classic one. Also, I miss the variety of categories and difficulty levels that were included in the older version. This edition is mostly just one-word guesses, which can be a little repetitive after a while.

Overall, Taboo is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for family game nights or gatherings with friends. It's quick to learn, easy to play, and always leads to lots of laughter. I'm happy to have a new set to add to my game collection, even with a few minor drawbacks. If you're looking for a fun, fast-paced party game, I highly recommend Taboo.
