Last Night on Earth: Timber Peak review

I've been a fan of Last Night on Earth for a while now, and Timber Peak is a fantastic addition to the series. It's a standalone game, but it's also an expansion for the original Last Night on Earth, which is great for those who already own the base game. The new town of Timber Peak is a welcome addition, and I love the new Heroes, especially Alice the Waitress, Nikki the Bush Pilot, and Ed the Lumberjack. The new game mechanics, like the fire system and the experience system, are really fun and add a new layer of complexity to the game. I found the new experience system to be a bit underwhelming, with some of the upgrades feeling a bit underwhelming. But overall, the new game mechanics are great and add a lot of replayability to the game.

The artwork is stunning, as always, with the photographic style adding to the horror movie vibe. The game components are high quality, with sturdy figures and thick, shiny boards. The cards are also thick and durable, and they have a nice, glossy feel to them. I think the game is a bit more challenging than the original Last Night on Earth, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I definitely recommend this expansion to any fans of the series. If you're just starting out with Last Night on Earth, I'd suggest playing the original game first. You'll get a better understanding of the core mechanics, and then you can add Timber Peak to your collection for an even more challenging and rewarding experience.
