Dungeons & Dragons: Attack Wing review

I recently picked up the Dungeons & Dragons: Attack Wing Starter Set, and I'm really enjoying it! It's a fun, quick game that plays like Star Wars: X-Wing, but with a fantasy twist. The miniatures are fantastic, and the game itself is very engaging.

The starter set comes with three pre-painted dragons, each with its own unique abilities and play style. The blue dragon is all about range, while the red dragon is a brute force fighter, and the copper dragon is a trickster. The game also includes all the pieces you need to play, including maneuver dials, upgrade cards, and tokens.

The game is easy to learn, but there's a lot of depth to the gameplay. The game is quick to set up and play, but each match can be very tactical. I found myself really strategizing my dragon's movements, and the way I used my upgrade cards.

Overall, I'm very happy with the Dungeons & Dragons: Attack Wing Starter Set. It's a fun, engaging game that's perfect for fans of fantasy and miniatures games alike.

The only downside is that you really need to buy expansion figures to get the most out of the game. But, to be honest, that's true for most miniatures games. If you're a fan of the genre, then you already know that and are probably willing to spend the money.

I'm definitely planning on picking up some of the expansion packs soon. The starter set is a great introduction to the game, but there's so much more to explore.
